Before and After

I've always loved before and after posts, showing how photographers edit their images and seeing the magic they create. So, just for fun, Ive decided to have a little blog post showing a few of my before and afters!

This is so much fun, not only because i'm showing you all, but because its super fun for me to see my work evolve! The image above was shot late day (not quite sunset), the sun was bright and super hot. lol So I underexposed a tad so I didn't blow out the sky, and could bring it back in post, which I ended up being able to :) SCORE.

Now, here are some from my Virginia Beach trip this past June! These I played with and made them a lot of fun without over doing it.

How about some black and white conversions?? Personally I love black and white, I feel like it speaks to my soul, and makes images look moodier. So, take a look!

And now for some general favorites :)

This one I didnt do too much editing on, as you can see. Just more contrast and played with the color since I loved the SOOC image so much.

Again, not much editing. When the sky is this pretty, you don't have to do much!

This one, I obviously over exposed lol but I think I did a cool job at saving it!

I really like moody pictures, can't yall tell yet? haha

An all time favorite of my boy! Taken right at sunset (duh). Edited with VSCO 05 I believe, and up-ed the saturation and played with the shadows.

And lastly, here is a photo that I didnt actually mean to take. It's poor quality really, but I ended up loving the final edited result! I warmed the image, and desaturated the colors, tweeked all color luminance and, of course, up-ed the contrast. :)

I hope you all enjoyed this! I sure did! If you'd like to see more, or a before and after of a certain image, let me know in comments!
